Ilulissat: Greenland’s Giant Glacier
Half of Greenland’s land area is located in the Arctic Circle, 80% of which is made of ice.
In particular, huge glaciers gather around Ilulissat, where the collapsed icebergs are washed away to eastern Canada.
In winter, the northern lights seen over the glacier are superb.
Famous for its cod, whale and musk beef dishes.
