Salineras de Maras: Superb View of Peru
Salineras de Maras (The salt pans of Maras) has already existed during the Inca era.
The sight of about 3,000 salt farms is like a terraced rice field.
People who work in this salt farm climb up and down the salt pans with different elevations to produce salt.
This is the same historical culture as during the Inca Empire.
Since the dry season is from April to September, the water dries up from the salt pans, creating a beautiful white scenery.
