Altair 8800 Was Released in The USA: December 19th

December 19th of 1974 is the day the personal computer “Altair 8800” was developed and released in the US.

It was the earliest PC sold to the public and is sometimes referred to as the “world’s first personal computer.”

At that time, computers were so large that they occupy a room of a laboratory or company, and even smaller ones were too expensive to buy individually.
