
Bulgarian National Bank Was Founded on January 25, 1879
January 25, 1879 is the day the Bulgarian National Bank was founded in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
It is one of the oldest central banks in the world.
The main store was built in “Battenberg Square” in the center of the city.
The president as of 2020 is “Dimitar Radef” (2015-).
The current building was newly built between 1934 and 1939.
