Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony: August 6th

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony is held on August 6th every year in Japan.

At 8:15 am on August 6th, 1945, the US military dropped the atomic bomb “Little Boy” on Hiroshima, Japan.

This ceremony is held every year in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture to comfort the spirits of the A-bomb victims and pray for world peace.

The venue is held every year in front of the “Cenotaph for the A-bomb Victims” in the Peace Memorial Park.

It’s held by the general public as well as the survivors and bereaved families of the A-bomb victims.
