International Albinism Awareness Day: June 13
June 13th is “International Albinism Awareness Day”.
At the United Nations General Assembly on November 18, 2014, this day was set as an anniversary to eliminate discrimination and prejudice against people with albinism.
People with albinism are congenitally very white in hair and skin.
Some people have had their bodies removed or killed because of albinism.
The United Nations denies such customs and religions.
