December 3rd is the International Day of Disabled Persons.
This day was an international day established in 1992.
It commemorates the adoption of the “World Programme of Action Concerning Disabled Persons” at the 1982 United Nations General Assembly.
The main purpose of the day is to deepen awareness of all persons around the world with disabilities and to protect their human rights.
