December 12th is the International Day of Neutrality.
It’s an international day proposed at the 2015 international conference, which is led by the Turkmenistan, Central Asia.
Its main purpose is to raise awareness about the importance of neutrality in international relations.
Turkmenistan became independent after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, and was approved as a permanent neutral country by the UN General Assembly on this day in 1995.
