International Day of Sign Languages: September 23rd
September 23rd is International Day of Sign Language.
It was established by the UN General Assembly in December 2017.
Sign language, which is used all over the world, is claimed to be on par with spoken language.
It also aims to ensure the human rights of Deaf people and deepen their awareness and understanding of sign language in the world.
