International Translation Day: September 30th

September 30th is International Translation Day.

This day is the anniversary of the death of the clergyman Hieronimus, who translated the Bible into Latin, and was enacted in 2017 by the United Nations.

It’s a day to celebrate and commemorate works of translation and interpreting.
