iPhone Was Announced on January 9, 2007.
January 9th is the day Apple in the United States announced the first generation of the “iPhone.”
On this day in 2007, the iPhone was unveiled for the first time at the “Macworld Expo 2007” exhibition hosted by IDG World Expo.
On June 29th of the same year, the iPhone was launched in the United States.
The iPhone was an epoch-making product that integrated the following three functions.
- Digital audio player (iPod)
- Mobile phone
- Internet communication equipment
Until then, touch panels could only be operated with one finger at a time.
However, you can zoom in and out on the iPhone touch panel by touching it with two fingers at the same time.
The original color was silver only, with only two capacities, 4GB and 8GB.
However, 4GB was abolished in September of the same year, and a 16GB model was added in February of the following year.
