Ramsar Convention Was Enacted on February 2, 1971
February 2, 1971 is the day when the ”Ramsar Convention” was enacted.
Enacted on this day in the Iranian city of Ramsar, the treaty is an international treaty on the protection of wetlands.
The details are “Convention on Wetlands of International Importance especially as Waterfowl Habitat”, which came into effect on December 21, 1975.
And on December 3, 1982, a protocol on the procedure for amending the clause was prepared and added in Paris.
