World Autism Awareness Day

World Autism Awareness Day: April 2

April 2nd is “World Autism Awareness Day”.

At the UN General Assembly on December 18, 2007, Qatar lawmakers proposed making this a memorial day to raise awareness of autism.

Every year on this day, various events are held all over the world.

In 2010, the autism support group “Autism Speaks” launched the “Light It Up Blue” event, which lights up landmarks around the world in blue.
