World Health Day: April 7

April 7th is “World Health Day”.

In 1948, the World Health Organization (WHO) established this day as an anniversary of thinking about health.

It started in 1950.

Events will be held according to the theme of each year.

Other international days established by WHO include “World Tuberculosis Day,” “World AIDS Day,” “World Blood Donor Day,” “World Immunization Week,” “World Malaria Day,” “World No Tobacco Day,” and “World Hepatitis Day.”
