World Malaria Day: April 25
April 25th is ”World Malaria Day”.
World Malaria Day is an anniversary to learn about “malaria” established by the World Health Organization in May 2007.
Malaria is a parasitic disease caused by infection with a pathogen called “malaria parasite” that is transmitted by “Anopheles mosquito”.
In 2015, malaria epidemics occurred around the world, especially in Africa, infecting more than 200 million people and killing more than 430,000 people.
