Zero Discrimination Day, March 1
March 1st is “Zero Discrimination Day”.
At a ceremony held in Melbourne, Australia on December 1, 2013, the Joint United Nations Program on HIV / AIDS (UNAIDS) announced that it would be “Zero Discrimination Day.”
The Joint United Nations Program on HIV / AIDS is a United Nations organization established in Geneva, Switzerland, in January 1996 to combat AIDS.
Its main purpose is to prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS and to eliminate discrimination and prejudice.
